A note from our founder

When my husband and I started homeschooling, we did so not primarily because of what we did not want, but because of what we DID want. We wanted our children to have time to play, read good books, exercise creativity, and spend time together as a family. We believed our ultimate responsibility as parents was to help bring our children into relationship with God, themselves, others, and the world around them, and we believed that responsibility changed how we approached education.

We have been homeschooling now for 6 years, and I can say the experience has been wonderful and humbling. We have learned a lot about ourselves, our children, and our Heavenly Father. This dream of a homeschool hybrid was born out of the simultaneous love of the Charlotte Mason philosophy and the honest acknowledgement that doing it alone is really hard. We are excited to create an intentional, collaborative learning atmosphere for students and set families free to enjoy meaningful time together.

For the Children’s Sake,

Sarah
