Admissions Process
“Education is a life,” Charlotte wrote. “That life is sustained on ideas. Ideas are of spiritual origin, and God has made us so that we get them chiefly as we convey them to one another, whether by word of mouth, written page, Scripture word, musical symphony; but we must sustain a child’s inner life with ideas as we sustain his body with food.”
Interested In Joining Our LRC Community?
At Little River Collective we believe a child’s education is best carried out in a sincere partnership between classroom-facilitators and parents. Therefore, we reserve the right to accept applications from families we believe are ready to partner in their children’s education.
We are so glad! —
Three steps to enrollment
Watch Video list
The Charlotte Mason Philosophy is different from what you will find in most schools both public or private. We ask that parents familiarize themselves with the method by watching this video list so that you will understand how and why we operate the way we do.
Complete application
There is a $25 application fee per family. Please note that LRC is a faith based community, and parents or caregivers are asked to sign a statement of faith affirming the basic tenets of the Christian faith as outlined in the Apostles Creed.
Family Interview
Once your application is reviewed, we will conduct an interview to determine if Little River Collective is a good fit for your family. We ask that all potential students attend this interview with parents or caregivers.
We recognize that the decision about how and where to educate your child is incredibly significant, and we are honored that you would consider Little River Collective in that process.
We look forward to hearing from you!
LRC’s non-discrimination policy
Little River Collective admits students of any race, color, national origin, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the tutorial. It doesn't discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, and all school-administered programs.
